What are Certificate Transparency logs?

Certificate Transparency (CT) logs are public, append-only records of SSL/TLS certificates. When a certificate is issued for a domain, it's logged in CT logs. This allows security researchers to discover all subdomains that have SSL certificates.

Why would I need to find subdomains?

Subdomain enumeration is useful for security audits, penetration testing, asset discovery, and identifying forgotten or vulnerable subdomains. It helps organizations understand their attack surface and find shadow IT resources.

Can this tool find all subdomains?

This tool finds subdomains with SSL certificates logged in CT logs. Subdomains without certificates or using internal CAs may not appear. For comprehensive enumeration, combine with DNS brute-forcing and other techniques.
